The LogMe Plug-in is an advanced Log Tab that can be filtered using string and regular expression searches. This powerful mechanism can be used to filter for log entries from a specific facility like the "Expert," a specific type like "Wireless Channel Overlap," or any other part of the text in the log message. Regular expressions can also be used to filter for arbitrarily complex patterns, such as ranges of channels, packets, and addresses.

The filter is activated by typing in a filter string and hitting the Return key. When a filter is entered, the list is filtered. If a capture is running, only log entries matching the search parameters will be added to the list. You can re-filter the list at any time by changing the filter string and hitting the Return key. To remove the filter and display all the log entries, remove all the text from the filter edit line and hit Return.
The LogMe Plug-in also sports a right-click menu that can be used to select the packet in the packet list referred to in the log entry.
